Google search tricks – CompuScribe Communication Design

My default search engine is Google. I don’t think any other online search can touch them. They have some very cool fast searches that show the result on top the result page in an instant.

Enter the word time into the search field – you get the exact time in your own local time zone on top of the page.
Enter the words time Switzerland into the search field – you get the exact time in Switzerland on top of the page.
Enter the words weather Berlin into the search field – you get the current weather in Berlin on top of the page.
Other instant searches can be: define <your word> for a dictionary definition, synonym <your word> for a thesaurus definition, flag <country> … you get the idea.
